Drop by and give it a try - Sporting Memories and so much more in Forfar

We’re thrilled to offer local older members from the community in Forfar the opportunity to attend our FREE Sporting Memories session - held every Monday between 10:30am and 12pm - alongside a range of other free activities!

Join us every Monday!

The club gives older adults the opportunity to meet new people and reconnect with sport, through engaging and fun conversation whilst also keeping attendees active through gentle exercise – all activities inclusive and dementia friendly.

The Sporting Memories club takes place at Lochside Park, Graham Crescent, Forfar, DD8 1DU.

You don’t have to book or register, simply come along to the session on a Monday and join in the discussions as well as participate in the physical activity sessions too.

And more taking place throughout the week

This is part of a series of weekly activities being provided by a range of partners we’re working with alongside Alzheimer's Society Scotland, Angus Alive, Angus Council Vibrant Communities Programme, Church of Scotland, Strathmore Community Rugby Trust, Forfar Community Football Trust, Forfar Sailing Club and Strathmore Community Rugby Trust to set up a weekly programme of fun, inclusive activities specifically for older adults.

And you can find out more about other weekly activities running in Forfar here!
