Pentlands Sporting Memories Club

Where:

We meet at The Hub @531 on Lanark Road in Juniper Green.

When:

We meet every Wednesday (apart from Christmas Holidays) at 1:30pm until 3pm. The volunteer team invite a small weekly contribution of around £1-£2 to cover the cost of refreshments. We often use the money for trips or lunches.

How to find us:

The Hub is on Lanark Road which is accessed by the number 44 Lothian Bus. There is a bus stop around 10 meters from the Hub and if coming from Balerno/Currie the bus stop is located just before the grocery shop on the corner of Baberton Avenue. There is a crossing to get you over the road. There is no car park but free on-street parking is available on Baberton Avenue.

Further information:

The Pentlands club (named so because it covers the Juniper Green, Currie and Balerno area) is based at the community hub on Lanark Road – Hub @ 531. The hub has one main community space which is accessed via the front door. It is reached by an accessible entrance suitable for wheelchairs. It also has an accessible toilet.

Our fantastic volunteer team of Paul, Margaret and Allister who all live locally, always ensure a friendly welcome with plenty of tea, cakes and biscuits each week.

The room at the Hub is quite small so we are restricted to low numbers to ensure that everyone gets a seat around the table. We are currently open to receiving new members and any enquiries can be directed to Donna Mackey – donna.mackey@sportingmemories.uk
