Sporting Memories members and volunteers from across Wales gathered for a day of sports and fun at our session held at Penarth Rugby Club.

We welcomed the Asian Resource Centre Croydon (ARCC) to our network of clubs, as they held their first session on Friday 25th February – in doing so they became our first club to be predominantly focused on engaging with Asian older people.

Two of our clubs across the Sporting Memories Scotland Foundation family welcomed some special guests to their recent sessions as they heard about their journey is professional football.

Our Clubs from across East Lothian have enjoyed recent trips to Tynecastle and St. James’s Park to explore some of Britain’s football stadiums

Sporting Memories Wales has teamed up with Cardiff Rugby Museum to offer two local clubs the opportunity to visit Cardiff Arms Park during November and December 2022.

In 2018, Sporting Memories teamed up with Glasgow Caledonian University to conduct significant research to empirically evaluate the efficacy of our reminiscence group therapy activities.
